What are the advantages and disadvantages of spending money on space exploration?






INTRODUCTION


A humongous quota of wonga of taxpayers’ money is used on space research throughout the year by the public as well as private organizations. This essay will discuss its two chief merits as tremendously vital knowledge about other planets and feasibility to survive on them, whereas, its two leading drawbacks are deleterious pollution caused by the waste besides hazard to human life.


BODY PARAGRAPH - 1


What are its two salient benefits? First is, it bestows fruitful and worthwhile command about other planets. For instance, I got to know about the earth’s natural satellite Moon while I was in my 8th standard that there is no environment and water to sustain any form of life. Thus, it is crucial to be well prepared and equipped with the most advanced technologies to explore the Moon. The second is, huge sums of money are being infused in scrutinizing space to look for Earth-like planets so that humanity can be colonized there. Exampli gratia, Elon Musk the founder and CEO at SpaceX, one of the leading space exploration organization, is persistently analyzing for ways to colonize the red planet Mars as scientists at NASA claims to find water on its surface. Thus, there is the possibility that life survives there.


BODY PARAGRAPH - 2


The first prominent dark side of this is that a lot of pollution is emitted by the propellents which take astronauts and cargo materials for long journeys towards space. This big amount of pollution and other debris causes environmental mayhem. Another setback is the peril of losing life during these endeavors. For example, I have grasped during my senior school that the great woman named Kalpana Chawla and her team of astronauts and scientists have lost their lives during the return journey after a successful mission in the earth’s orbit. Hence, the consequences of the space journey are serious and life-threatening.


CONCLUSION


In the light of this evidence, this essay has discussed ts two principles brighter sides as massive knowledge about the planetary system and likelihood of surviving there while its two pivotal negative points are devastating pollution and jeopardy of disfastening from life.
