Cue Card - A day you tried new food for the first time.


You should explain;

  • What you ate?

  • Where did you eat it?

  • What did it taste like?

  

Explain whether you liked it or not?





A Possible Solution


As far as food is concerned, I am excited about the number of food options. 


Just yesterday I had an opportunity to try a new type of food on the occasion of the birthday party of my dear friend John. 


We both have studied together in our senior secondary school and now we are taking IELTS classes together from the same institution.


So to celebrate his birthday we went to a famous restaurant called Yoyo China in our town Pehowa. 


Upon having a look at the menu we decided to try something new and we ordered a strange dish which was a Chinese Platter. 


The dish arrived around after 15 minutes and when I had the fragrance it was literally irresistible. 


It was the combination of various Chinese cuisines like noodles, Manchurians, and some things which I tasted for the first time.


Talking about the taste, it was really mouthwatering. 


Later on, we ordered two more Chinese platters and everyone over there was looking at us like these guys are literally enjoying this dish. 


If I speak about whether I liked this dish or not, this dish was really appealing to me, although I am not a big fan of Chinese food, I am really looking forward to tasting this dish again. 


Since my birthday is approaching next month, I am planning to visit that restaurant again with my friends.


So this was the time when I tried a new cuisine which was originally a Chinese item and I really enjoyed it a lot.
