Cue Card - Describe an event you experienced in which you didn’t like the music played

Explain why you didn’t enjoy the music.

1. Music has the power to transform the mood of people in its presence.
2. There are occasions in my culture which are incomplete if there is no music played on them.
3. I am habitual of attending events like weddings, birthday parties, and celebrations where I enjoy the beats.
4. Since this cue card instructs me to speak about a time when music played was not of my taste.
5. Last month, 26th April on Sunday, there was a marriage function nearby my house.
6. I was heartily invited along with my family to be a part of that auspicious function.
7. It was organized in the community hall of our locality.
8. Music was good for most people of my age but I didn’t appreciate it.
9. There were Punjabi songs on the DJ which were all about using weapons, having drugs, and promoting fights among youngsters.
10. Nothing productive was conveyed through such songs.
11. I even didn’t dance that day, while normally I go and dance in an event of such kind.
12. I love listening to music that either promotes culture or conveys positive emotions among people.
13. However I didn’t complain about it to anyone and let them enjoy those songs.
14. I strongly recommend music that produces calmness, relaxation, and happiness in the heart of listeners.
15. As a result, the music was intentionally encouraging violence, hatred, and weapons in society, all of these reasons caused me to disassociate myself to like this music.
