Dear Sir / Madam,


I am writing to you in response to an advertisement listed yesterday in the local newspaper “The Express-News” about a vacancy for a Spanish language teacher. I would like to give a brief introduction about myself, my name is Salena and I have been teaching the Spanish language to children of age between 8 to 15 years old for over ten years now.


Referring to that advert I got to know that the learners will be two of your children so I think I would be a potential candidate for this post owing to my good amount of experience in this field. Moreover, I have taught to the children of an executive couple last year and I used to prepare the lunch for their children as well. Therefore, if you and your spouse are also working during the daytime I can make sure they are well-fed during that time. 


Highlighting the reason why I need this job at this moment is that I am a full-time Spanish language tutor at Springfield school and these days I am enjoying my summer vacations but teaching is my passion so that it would be a good utilization of my time.
