Interviews form the basic selecting criteria for most large companies. However, some people think that interview is not a reliable method of choosing whom to employ and there are other better methods.

To what extent do you agree or disagree.

INTRODUCTION

Recruiting new employees can be a long and painful process. The success of an organization depends on how efficient its faculty is. Recruitment majorly involves interviews. I agree with the notion that interview is crucial but not the only method of hiring employees. This essay entails analyzing methods of hiring new staff such as interviews, aptitude, or written tests.

BODY PARAGRAPH-1

Undoubtedly, an interview is really beneficial for recruitment. But if the selection only involves interviews, then it has to be well executed. It requires a detailed understanding of what the firm requires as well as a watchful grasp of employee’s responses. ExamplI gratia, every profit, and the non-profit organization call interviewees for an interview before the appointment, where a team of higher officials asks the candidate some questions concerning the perspective of the work they are anticipated to do if selected. It is not an easy task. It is benevolent for small-scale recruitments but not that effective at a large scale. Then the management needs alternative strategies for hiring new hirelings.

BODY PARAGRAPH-2

There are several other disciplines to inscribe new personnel, namely aptitude test, to check the intellectual ability of the candidates. The hiring techniques are an amalgamation of several step-by-step examinations, which can be exemplified by Civil service examinations in India and other nations. Primarily the job vacancies are advertised and applications are invited. After which recruiters select the best resumes fitting the job criteria. The furthermore written test is organized and candidates are shortlisted based on the results of these tests. And this process is followed by a physical assessment or a group discussion scrutinizing the possible candidates to judge their ingenuity. However, the last step in this whole modus operandi is always an interview where the patience and mindset of pupils are probed.

CONCLUSION

Winding up the facets, it is pretty obvious that no single method is perfect. Albeit the interview is important but is not that effective for all vocation’s requirements, since some professions require higher qualification or others require experience and practical skills, where interview might not be the best tactic to observe the knacks of the future workers and other techniques are required.
