The course will take during the week, so you will need to take time off work.
Write a letter to your manager. In the letter;
Say what the course is.
Explain why you want to do the course and how it will be beneficial to the company.
Suggest how your work can be covered while you attend the course.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to bring this to your kind attention that I am interested in attending a 3-day course on ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) next week. Yesterday, while surfing on google about tools that can help me to move forward in my job, an advertisement popped up that I am going to share here in this letter.
Primarily, the course is tailor-made to equip an executive about how to plan the resources within an enterprise effectively. This 3-day course starting from 21st April, Monday 10 a.m to 3:30 p.m up to Wednesday with same timings, is about training me for proactive planning of H.R, outsourcing, marketing, sales, production, and finance. As I am already engaged in this work, so this course is exactly about coaching me for next-level performance.
The principal reason why I have chosen to be a part of this offline programmer at IT Park, Chandigarh since the course provider themself are from silicon valley, Bangalore. Additionally, all four content deliverers have successful business journeys on their name. Unarguably, by this, our company is going to be benefited, since while coming back I will be doing my assignments with an updated, upgraded, better-programmed mindset. Even I am planning to share the content of the course with every colleague working in the same capacity.
Would you like to know how have I adjusted my work during my absence? My colleague, Miss Navjeet Kaur who has been working with me since January 2020 is well-aware of my day-to-day activities and responsibilities. I have already persuaded her to look at my responsibilities for three days and text me in case she needs my consultation on anything.
