Why do you think these books and TV shows are popular?
What are your opinion of crime fiction and TV crime dramas?
INTRODUCTION
Television program producers and novel writers are more focused on providing crime-related content in their work. The possible reason behind it could be the escalated demand among people as they create a sensation of suspense in human minds. I opine that these tv programs and crime novels are in society for a long time and people tend to consume these contents just for the sake of pure entertainment.
BODY PARAGRAPH - 1
One gadget that has fast evolved from being ‘a fat piece of glass and plastic’ to a more compatible ‘ beautiful looking LED screen’ is the television. These mind-blowing machines are on the walls of every homosapien's home regardless of their financial status or the continent they reside on. People on average spend a lot of time glaring at these flat screens and most of the content or episodes are crime-related. Another thing that attracts people is crime fiction novels. Creators of both the crime-infused television programs and the novels have one point in mind that by putting more drama, suspense, and spicy fantasies they can sell their product to more and more people. Not to mention, these contents are addictive and people tend to come back to them to have more of it, leading to their popularity.

Any action done by a person which is prohibited by the law of the land is generally defined as a crime. Certainly, these incidents are a part of society, television program producers and certain book writers tend to replicate them in their creations. Although their intentions are not always money-minded, it could be in my opinion is to make their viewers and readers more aware of the things happening around them.
CONCLUSION
To conclude, the notion behind the increasing popularity of crime-infused television programs and novels is that they are more attractive to human brains, moreover, my point of view toward this trend is that these contents are here for entertainment and to spread more awareness among people.
