ESSAY::

Some people believe that professionals like doctors and engineers, should be required to work in the country where they did their training. others believe that they should be free to work in another country if they wish.

Discuss both views and give your opinion. 

SAMPLE ANSWER::

A section of society thinks that professionals such as physicians and engineers should work in their native country where they graduated while the other section opines that such professionals are independent to choose where to work in the world. This essay will discuss both the viewpoints along with my personal thought. 

Why the first opinion is justified because a country invests a lot of resources in order to build a professional especially a doctor or engineer. Such as, to educate a student with an engineering degree, a nation spends heavily on the faculty, infrastructure, labs, curriculum, job assistance and other aspects then only a student gets the degree. For example, in an IIT, to provide the country with best technical brains, Indian government invests extensively every year and it becomes the responsibility of the trained people to serve their native country in the return. Therefore, professionals such as doctors and engineers should choose to work in their local territories to help them grow.

On the other hand, the opinion of giving them freedom to select the country to work in future is also a valid point because every person deserves to get the best in his field. Such as, to work in a competitive environment, IT professionals opt to work in USA, where they believe the best talent and talent nurturers exist. For example, silicon valley in America is known worldwide to be the excellent place for web developers, programmers, coders and data scientists, it does not mean, if people are coming from India to work in USA, they are insulting or harming their parent country. As a result, a professional is free to navigate his career on his terms. 

In my personal opinion, it depends on a person how he choose to look at his career. Such as, if somebody thinks that his field has more opportunities of growth in foreign country then he should fly there to grab the best. On the other hand, if someone is having a patriotic heart and wants to serve his motherland, he is free to spend his rest of life in his local environment. For instance, Ratan Tata is a person in India who took MBA from Cornell university, USA but chose to serve his own country. Thus, both views have their own importance. 

This essay has discussed why first view and second view are justified. Additionally, I have shared my personal view also.
