ESSAY :

SOME CHILDREN SPEND HOURS EVERY DAY ON THEIR SMARTPHONES.

WHY IS THIS THE CASE? DO YOU THINK IT IS A POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE DEVELOPMENT?

SOLVED ANSWER:

A portion of children community invests a considerable time daily by using their smartphones. This essay will discuss the reasons behind this as children get entertained through it as well as it has become an educational tool. Additionally, it will also discuss why it is a positive advancement.

The first reason why children get glued with smartphones since they feel entertained while using the phone. Such as, whenever they listen songs, scroll the reels, use social media, it makes them feel refreshing and rejuvenated. For example, even during my school years, I also used my phone to listen songs on YouTube to recharge my brain and mindset which was quite helpful. Therefore, children spend a lot of time on smartphones because it entertains them completely.

The second reason responsible for spending most of time on smartphones by pupils which is, smartphones have become highly educational. To elaborate it, smartphones not only allow children to listen songs but also, through Google, Wikipedia and various apps, they teach valuable lessons to them. For instance, I use Ted Talks which is a YouTube platform where I use to listen knowledgeable speakers from the globe and enhance my intellect. Thus, smartphones are equivalent to modern day teachers that makes them irresistible.

Finally, it is a positive development because smartphones provide assistance, knowledge, entertainment, global exposure and extended friend circle to modern day children. To stretch it, when a child sits with his phone, he finds a lot to learn and experience which was not possible for children a decade ago. For example, it is tough to find a child in any home without smartphone which itself shows the importance and worthiness of this gadget. As a result, it has become a meaningful development for children.

In conclusion, children in present times spend most of the time on smartphones because they entertain and educate them. It is a positive advancement for them.
