Today more and more tourists are visiting places where conditions are difficult such as the Sahara desert or the Antarctic.

What are the advantages and disadvantages for tourists who visit such places?

INTRODUCTION

Voyage is an adventurous and leisure activity for explorers. In the prevalent scenario, globetrotters take pleasure in scouting extreme places such as the Sahara desert and the Antarctic. While this provides exposure to these distinct and savage sites’ culture, flora and fauna, however, this also poses some risk to the escapade lovers namely life-threatening situations as health risks or even death along with the scarcity of resources, which will be elucidated in the upcoming passage.

BODY PARAGRAPH - 1

To commence with, both Sahara and Antarctic are prominent for their hazardous climate. If the prior is scorching then the latter is chilling to the bone. Traveling to these climes subjects the vacationer with a direct denunciation to its traditions, culture, weather and its bio-diversity. For instance, Sahara constitutes various animals and reptile species such as deadly snakes and stingy spiders and this experience could build their personality to a strong and also adds to the memory. Although Antarctic is believed to be entirely deserted, the water below the ice caps however holds some unbelievable and amazing marine species and it also leads to learning some survival skills in such places.

BODY PARAGRAPH - 2

Albeit adventure is wonderful and thrilling, it could also lead to dire consequences. The first and foremost demerit is the scarcity of supplies along with complete isolation as there is no human trace within several miles. Often, backpackers lost their way while jaunting and if not rescued immediately can even lose their precious life. And the deadly fauna adds a star to the hit list killing more humanoids than accidents. Exempli gratia, highly venomous reptiles in Sahara could kill anyone in mere seconds. And not to forget about the freezing Antarctic, the chilled stormy winds could freeze one to death. Even if the tourist could make it safely to their homeland, with memories they also carry several chronic diseases ( breathing problems, burns, or more). Thence, excursing these sites can lead to severe implications.

CONCLUSION

In a nutshell, although Sahara and Antarctic type of tourist destination are preferred by the adventurous and daring people due to their nature and biodiversity, however, can be life-threatening with deadly scenarios and could leave a life-long scar on the traveler or his family with severe conditions such as physical or mental illness. But this can also give them the experience of surviving in such cumbersome conditions and places.
