Write a letter to the local council. In your letter

  • Describe the situation.

  • Inform them about the possible consequences

  • Give some suggestions to solve the problem





Dear Sir,


I am Nav, dweller of apartment number 24, Krishna Apartments, New Delhi, to lodge a complaint against the issue of garbage detritus in my area.


This area is a posh and nice colony, however, with trash muck all over the streets, it looks like hell. Moreover, it gives rise to issues such as mosquito outbreaks spreading many diseases. Apart from this, there is no service for garbage disposal in this area by the concerned department.


If the scenario persists then illness namely malaria, dengue will be prominent here. Moreover, the society’s children also play in the local park whose entrance is littered with trash and in the evening they are more prone to mosquito bites. Also, the garbage heaps fabricate a foul odor in rainy seasons which becomes unbearable for all the residents.


Now I would like you to take some actions to remedify this situation. Appoint a person to collect and dispose of the garbage out of the area and also make sure to supervise the cleanliness every week so this issue will never stir up.


I hope you will fulfill my request and take immediate action to rectify the problem.
