Around the world, more and more people are living in urban areas.

Why is this? What does this problem cause?

INTRODUCTION

Modern amenities, luxurious lifestyle, and better employment have subjected an exaggerated amount of populace migrating to metropolitan localities. This instigates several quandaries namely congestion, lifestyle degradation along with the excess need for space.

BODY PARAGRAPH - 1

Why mortals plump for conurbation? The prime aspect is the contemporary conveniences (modern houses, furniture, automobiles, and more), which in turn ameliorates an individual’s living standard. Some humanoids even acquire the peak relishing the extravagant luxuries. Another prominent factor is the abundance of vocation latitudes since urban areas are adorned with industrial infrastructure and IT ventures are burgeoning in these places, which surge up the employment statistics. Thence, this is why humans are emigrating to urban sprawls.

BODY PARAGRAPH - 2

What are the implications of this prevailing trend? Inaugural reverberation is overcrowding whether in residential areas or on roads which takes the form of immense traffic jams. This issue is more ubiquitous in large cosmopolitan cities. Apart from this, the lifestyle of homo-sapiens also downgrades, which can be exemplified by the suffering of the population in slums with a mere space in the name of privacy. Subsequently, with escalating inhabitants, the prerequisite of space also intensifies which not only imposes compulsion on the populace but also on the environment. Thus, overpopulation in urban areas can be devastating.

CONCLUSION

To recapitulate, over-migration to contemporary localities is because of quality lifestyle with loaded resources and employment opportunities which has several loopholes such as obstruction, plummeting living standards, and scarcity of resources.
