Certain personal qualities cannot be achieved through university studies.

INTRODUCTION

Academia is epochal for building a career but why they lack training in enhancing some personal knacks such as social service and responsibility along with kindness and empathy towards others. I strongly agree with this statement and this essay will discuss this particular aspect.


BODY PARAGRAPH - 1

University is an amalgamation of different courses paramount for peers to land in the desired vocation, however, what these studies lack is teaching scholars about social amenability and serving others. Since human is a social being and society, as well as environment, plays an earnest role in everyone’s life and the university does not feel obliged to teach these abilities to students. For instance, academic subjects such as Science, Mathematics, Language, and many more, have nothing to do with serving the humanity and earth. Even if they do then they are just fake talks and are not practically implemented, which can be exemplified by technologies namely coral precipitator, composting, etc are just theoretical but has no practical application. Thus, the degree does not make us realize our first and foremost accountability towards our mother nature and other beings.


BODY PARAGRAPH - 2

Another loophole in university accreditation, which is kindness and feeling of sympathy towards others,  whether humanoids or animals. Regnant industrial revolution has annihilated animal habitats, forcing them to be homeless and wander around human colonies for a mere morsel of food. Furthermore, some humans (underprivileged and homeless) are also suffering a great deal having no shelter, little to no food, and rags in the name of clothes. Now is that something university ponders to let their peers learn and provide solutions to such problems, imparting the feeling of kindness and empathy towards these poor beings? No. they confine to just emphasize on making them productive for themselves alone. 

CONCLUSION

In cessation, this essay has discussed how universities put eagle eyes on their professionalism and not on innate abilities, helping other living beings be it homo-sapiens, animals, or our beloved environment. Rather they should focus on making students productive for not just themselves but to the society as well, as the famous proverb say “Today’s youth is tomorrow’s future”.
