Describe your level of English.
You should say:
What it is?
How and when you started to learn English?
Are you satisfied with the current level?
What would you like to improve your current language ability?
Best Possible Solution ;
Well, I am a multi-lingual person.
And I am an expert user of Hindi, Punjabi and consider my level of English as excellent.
I started to learn English at the primary stage of my schooling.
On the first day at school, my teacher taught me how to write and pronounce the alphabet of English.
From that day I dedicated my time at school to ace in every subject and impress my teachers and parents.
However, I was good at writing and reading English but was under-confident at my speaking knack.
Whenever any teacher asked me to speak in English in front of the whole class, I would get jitters and often become nervous.
Then in 6th standard, I got a new English teacher who was named Miss. Reena Malhotra.
She was a very prominent teacher and she also helped to come out of my shell and speak fluently in English.
Every day she would give an article to the students of my class to prepare and then represent it in front of everyone.
I started to become more confident in my English speaking skills.
She also encouraged me to participate in speech and debate competitions organized at school.
I heeded her suggestion and won the 1st prize in both the competitions.
Apart from this, I also cracked the IELTS exam on 1st attempt with a band score of 7.5, with the help of a world-class IELTS trainer, Mr. Deepak Kumar.
Thus I can say I am an Affluent speaker of the English language and would like to improve my communication skills.
Since I have an American accent, I would like to communicate with some foreign speakers to check how fluently I can converse with them.
After acing my goal, I would also like to learn other prominent foreign languages such as Spanish and French.
