Some people say that now we can see films on our phones or tablets there is no need to go to cinema. Others say that to be fully enjoyed, films need to be seen in a cinema.

Discuss both views and give your opinion.

A section of the society opines that in contemporary era, individuals can watch movies on their cellphones or tablets which makes it useless to visit to theatre or cinema hall to watch the same movie, while, rest of the people believe that in order to savor a movie, one must go to cinema. This essay will discuss both of the viewpoints along with my personal approach.

First opinion is justified since mobile phone revolution has brought many opportunities to its users, out of them, watching a movie at your own, at your preferred location, at your convenience is one major advancement. For example, last week I saw a Bollywood movie on Netflix which was few weeks ago in the cinemas all over India, I saw it as per my convenience with much less investment of money and efforts. Thus, need to go to cinema to watch movies has been largely reduced with the dawn of the smart phone era where almost every movie is one click away or one subscription away.    

While the second opinion also holds a valid point because cinemas are designed solely to create an experience for the viewers so that they can optimize their movie watching time, in order to do this, special lightening, extra-ordinary sound system and a wide display of the movie are done. In addition to that, seats are extremely comfortable, various cuisine are offered while watching the movie. Such luxuries cannot be supplemented by watching movie on phone. For example, even today the people who value their movie watching experience and want to take it to peak, they only have one choice, book the tickets and visit cinema. Thus, mobile phone is a poor substitute of cinema when compared on the standards of sound, display, ambience and a special vibe from environment. 

As per my own point of view, sometimes it is better to enjoy movie on phone when you have less time, money and availability of resources but on the other hand, if you have time, money and you want to create a memory, it is better to visit a cinema and savor the whole experience. Therefore, both of the facilities have their own significance, it depends on the user how he is willing to create the experience.

In conclusion, this essay has discussed the first view which is, watching movies on mobile phones as well as second opinion also, which is, going to cinema and exploring the whole experience. Lastly, I also mentioned my personal remarks on the same.
