Nowadays the way many people interact with each other has changed because of technology.

In what ways has technology affected the types of relationships people make?

Has this become a positive or negative development?

INTRODUCTION

Albeit, technology has amalgamated the world on a single platform but it also has affected our way of interacting with others around us. This implicates affecting our society as well as personal relationships. Overall, it is a negative enhancement as it has a large impact on a mortal’s personal and social life as well as knacks. This essay will elucidate these aspects.

BODY PARAGRAPH - 1

Commencing, technology has provided us with an interacting opportunity to converse with the world at a new level but at a high cost. Its implications could be seen in everyone’s everyday life whether personal or social. Populace especially teenagers has stopped interacting with the real world physically present around them, rather they disburse more time in the virtual world. This has an adverse impact on their relations, the communication gap being the mainstream effect. Exempli gratia, a humanoid might have a huge herd of friends online but in reality, he has none along with a bad perception of his family.

BODY PARAGRAPH - 2

Now everything has some demerits, so does telecommunication technology. It has a rather more detrimental effect than being a boon. Due to immense communication gap building in one’s social life, they often become socially inactive and introverts, which is not quite benevolent for them physically or psychologically. Apart from this, they also develop unempathetic feelings towards other species. For instance, in pregnancy humans would sympathize with other humans and animals over the web but would turn a blind eye to their social issues.

CONCLUSION

In culmination, technology is a boon only if used to the limit. When it is used extensively, it rather becomes a curse. This is what has happened in regard to telecommunication. But it's never too late to rectify the situation. Hence this has been a negative development and could be rectified with some precautions.
