The planet’s population is reaching unsustainable levels, people are facing a shortage of resources like water, food, and fuel.

To what consequences may overpopulation lead?

In your opinion, what measures can be taken to fight overpopulation?

INTRODUCTION

Medical and technological advancement has lead to the escalation of life expectancy amongst all age groups and this is why the earth’s population reached an endurable extent, which has lead to a shortage of resources (water, food, and fuel) as well as congestion of space. This situation can be ameliorated by taking some precautions such as a family planning scheme implemented by the government of nations and imparting some awareness regarding this matter in females.

BODY PARAGRAPH - 1

Over the years, the world’s occupants have been proliferating which has detrimental impacts on available resources. There has been a shortage of all basic amenities namely food, water, fuel that accounts as livestock for living beings. This scenario is exaggerated by congestion be it of living space or traffic on roads. This is why the lifestyle of humanoids has degraded, which can be exemplified by metropolitan cities where on one side stays the rich community loaded with lavishness whereas another side resides the poor who yearns for a decent meal and liberation due to small spaces to live named slums. Thence, a higher density of populace leads to dire consequences.

BODY PARAGRAPH - 2

Albeit, mortals size is at a prodigious state but it can be controlled by taking some precautions at both officials as well as individual level. One such measure is family planning which is regnant for regnant times and can be observed by stricter norms by the government. Exempli gratia, a few years back China announced the one-child policy for its citizens, and for its breakthrough, the authorities announced If the couple wants a second child then one partner will be eliminated. Since then China’s population has been controlled. Moreover, the female generation must be taught about birth control measures and this can be proved as the most effective measure than any other tactic.

CONCLUSION

Winding up the facets, escalating population census can be annihilating for all living beings including animals too. Since humans have the tendency of hogging all the resources not giving regard to others. But this huge discrepancy amongst humans can be allayed by controlling the birth rate and making females aware of the consequences of more children to their bodies as well as society.
