HOUSEHOLD WORK
275. Do you like to do household work? Why?
I really like
to do household work, it generates satisfaction and feeling of love towards
home and moreover it keeps my house neat, clean and tidy. Giving a personal
touch to house hold works gives me a feeling of satisfaction and contentment.
276. Do you think people do more of house work these
days in your country?
In these days people are more careers oriented and
they are more inclined towards earning money, the attitude towards doing
household work is changing. People don’t give importance to it or they don’t
have time for it. So, most of the people have started keeping maids and
servants for household work.
277. Do you think children should be introduced to
household work early in life?
In my opinion, of course in a very early age of 8-10
years, they should be introduced to help other family members. They should be
encouraged to do household work according to their capability like keeping them
to learn things and because self-reliant, self- dependent and also generate an
attitude of help in a family
278. What were the chores with which you helped your
mother at home as a child?
I helped my mother in cleaning the house, keeping
household objects at right place and also serving other family members as a
child.
GIFTS
279. Do you like receiving gift?
Gifts are memories and I like receiving gifts. They
are expression of positive feelings towards the person to whom the gift is
given so gifts are remembrance for a long time.
280. Is it difficult to find gifts? Why?
Nowadays it’s not difficult any more to find a gift.
We only need to know the occasion and sometimes the liking of the recipient of
the gift. The market places are full of various kinds of items and gifts which
can be given and for various occasions like birthdays and important family
functions.
281. Is it possible to buy gift from internet?
Yes, it is very simple and convenient to buy any
kind of gift through internet. Technology has made all this possible through
online payment facility. Choosing from a wide variety of gifts on the internet
has become so simple nowadays that anyone can buy things. Free home delivery is
other good facility provided by the companies.
282. Which is more convenient, searching a gift on
internet or from a shop?
In my view, searching a gift from a shop is better.
A clear look, bargaining for the price and variety are the most important
factors. When we buy it directly from the shop we can also feel it. So,
shopping for a gift personally is the best option. A personal touch for a loved
one is necessary.
MUSEUM
284. Are there museums in your country?
Yes, there are many museums in my country which are
related to its history. Many museums tell about the struggle of our country for
independence and nowadays many cities have spiritual museums like the Krishna
museum at Kurukshetra which shows the life of Lord Krishna, museum of 10 Sikh
Gurus at Amritsar which depicts life stories of Sikh gurus and their teachings.
285. Have you ever visited a museum?
Yes, I have visited many museums in different parts
of my country. Every museum tells the story of past. Each has its own charm and
beauty. I have visited Gandhi museum at Gujarat. The museum has everything
related to Gandhi. Each and every corner speaks about Gandhian time. The place
gives a feeling of presence of Gandhi in present time.
286. Tell about it?
Last year, I went for an outing with my family to
Gujarat, one of the famous states of my country. There I visited Gujarat one of
the famous states of my country. There, I visited Gandhi museum in Porbandar,
the birth place of bapu. The museum completely speaks about Gandhi. It shows
how he lived and what he used. Visiting the museum gives a feeling that Gandhi is
still alive. It shows how he lived and fought with weapon of non-violence against
Britishers. The museum also displays the personal belongings of Mahatma Gandhi.
287. Did you like museum as a child?
Yes, I always liked visiting museum. Since my
childhood, I visited many museums. My mother always took me to the places of learning.
Museum is one of them. I visited doll museum, art and craft museum many times
as a child.
SCIENCE EDUCATION
288. Do you like science?
Science is one of the compulsory subjects in school curriculum.
I read the subject from class first onward. I like science subject as it is
full of facts and experiments. It gives logical reasoning for a concept. It
provides the responsible facts behind the material development of this world
and also it explores surroundings.
289. Did you enjoy science lessons in the school?
Till my 10th class I studied science as a
compulsory subject and I enjoyed science lessons. I enjoyed biology lessons
more especially that were related to plants and flowers.
290. What did you find most difficult?
I found physics numerical and chemistry concepts
most difficult. These two branches I felt were totally dry subjects to study.
Most of the times, I crammed the concepts to get marks. I had less interest in
them. Even my tuition classes were not helpful to create interest in the
subject.
RELIGION
291. What is the importance of religion in one’s
life?
In my opinion, religion teaches us brotherhood of
mankind and fatherhood of God. It gives us certain ethics and values to follow
and makes us a good human being and helps us to live our life peacefully and
purposefully.
292. How do people follow religion in your country?
My home country is multi-religious country. There
are four main religions Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, and Christianity. All people have
their own holy places. They all visit these places and celebrate festivals
related to their religion with great enthusiasm. One can see unity in diversity
in my country.
LIBRARY
293. What is your opinion about libraries?
Libraries play a vital role in the society. These
are a good source of Knowledge. It is a place where people who love reading can
invest their valuable time to get multiple returns.
294. Do you visit libraries? Why?
Yes, I like to visit libraries. As reading good
books is my hobby so I like to spend my free time in the library. I spend my
time reading in peaceful environment. Sometimes I also borrow books from the
library.
295. Should libraries be free of charge?
No there should be a nominal membership fees for
libraries as this will give library members a sense of responsibility.
Furthermore, the membership fee will help to maintain the library and its other
recurring expenses.
DRIVING
296. DO YOU DRIVE A VEHICLE?
Yes, I drive a two wheeler and a car. Driving helps
me to move independently to do my work. It helps me to reach my office well in
time. Not only this, it saves my time and energy.
297. Is it necessary for a person to learn driving?
According to me, it is not necessary but it has
become the need of time. Skills of driving make a person independent. It not
only helps a person but also other family members. Moving on own vehicle saves
time and one can provide help in case of any emergency.
298. What according to you is the best age of
driving?
A person who is matured and has knowledge of safe
driving is capable to drive. A person who is above 16 years can drive light
vehicles like two wheelers but a person of age 18 years and above should be
given a license to drive four wheelers. In my opinion heavy vehicles should be
drive only by people of 21 years of age or more.
299. Is it important for a person to learn driving
from a driving school?
It is not compulsory but it is helpful. A trainer
guides appropriately and maintains regularity of training which makes a person
learn driving easily. Apart from this, the driving school ensures to give some
information on the various parts of the vehicle and its maintenance.
300. Should schools teach driving?
Presently, it is not like that in my country, but it
can be introduced as a subject in curriculum. The theoretical and practical
classes will help a student to learn driving efficiently which is an important
skill and useful for whole life. This may help to follow traffic rules
perfectly and to reduce road accidents too.
