WRITING LETTERS
252. Do you write letters?
Yes, I write formal as well as informal letters. As I am a professional so many times I write letters manually to my seniors. I also write e-mails to my friends residing overseas. In my profession of course to keep records, e-mails are used more.
253. Do you prefer to write manually or using a computer?
Computer is an important part of my job. Regularly I have to work with internet. I write both types of letters. Usually to my friends, I write manually but in my office, I have to write using computer also. As most of the work is done electronically, e-mails are used more to write letters.
254. Do you think children should be taught to write letters at school?
School days are the formative years of learning. The things taught at this stage have a long retention. Letter writing skill is required at every stage of life so this skill should be taught from childhood at school. I have observed that in my country, it is included in the syllabus and children start writing letters from class first.
255. Compare the way you learnt to write and the way children today learn to write?
There is a huge difference between the way we were taught to write and children are taught to write but long back, we used to write with pencils and in ink only and apart from this, traditional methods of writing were also popular in those days. Nowadays, creative writing is also a part of learning in the schools.
CONTACTING FRIENDS
256.  How do you usually contact your friends?
The friends who live near to my house and in my city, I contact them personally and on phone. However the friends who live in other cities or overseas, I contact them through e-mail, face-book, and through phone also. Often we all friends contact each other.
257. Do you prefer to contact different people in different ways?
No, it is not necessary. It totally depends on the distance and their feasibility. Due to changing time zones, I prefer to contact my friends who are in my city, it is easy for us to meet face to face and in urgency we use phones also.
258. Do you find it easy to keep in contact with friends and family?
These days, I observe due to various communication devices and because of their easy operation, it is easy to keep in contact with friends and family members. Moreover, chatting and video conferencing has also made interaction and communication easy and feasible.
259. In your country, did people in the past keep in contact in the same ways as they do today?
No, in the past, the modern communication devices were not available and affordable, so people used to stay in contact through letters or meeting each other personally. On contrary, nowadays people use various means like mobile phones, e-mail, Facebook and tweeters etc. All mediums are easily available and economical.
260. Why do you think it is important to stay in contact with each other?
 Man is a social being and he always requires a company. Social life is a necessary to pass time, broaden outlook and increase Knowledge and awareness. In addition to this, keeping in contact gives feeling of belongingness and oneness.
BIRDS
261. Are there a lot of birds in the place where you live?
I am living in a city which is highly populated so I rarely see birds. Since there are lesser number of trees, so there are hardly any birds to see. Some people have small gardens in front of their house and these gardens attract birds.
262. What is the importance of birds in nature?
Birds are important part of nature to maintain ecological balance. They are essential to uphold food chain by eating small insects and reptiles. By doing so, they help the environment to remain healthy and disease free.
263. Which is your favorite bird?
My favorite bird is peacock. It is bluish green in color with long attractive feathers and a crown on its head, its beauty is awesome when it dances in rainy season. In addition to this, peacock is our national bird.
264. Is bird watching common in your country?
In urban areas, due to less population of birds, people don’t find birds in surrounding area so, it is not much popular but if they visit a place where they can find birds, people enjoy bird watching there especially near water bodies or nearby forests and green belt areas.

 As I am living in a village which is surrounded by greenery hence birds are commonly found at the place. People enjoy feeding various birds, their chirping and watching them. Some people keep birds and some keep birds as pets also.
ANIMALS
 265. Which animal do you like most and why?
I like pet animals. The animal which is favorite to me is dog as it guards the house and can even sacrifice its life for the sake of its master. I have a dog and we care for pet like a family member.
266. Do you still love the same animal that you loved in your childhood?
Yes, I love the same animal. Since my childhood, I have a dog at my house and now it is like our family member. Its name is Bruno and I love it very much.
267. Which are the common animals that are kept as pets in your country?
Dogs are the most common one. Apart from this people tame cats also and people on villages keep dairy animals like cows, goats, buffaloes and load carrying animals like horse, donkey and camel.
268. Which wild animals are people afraid of in your country?
People are mostly afraid of snakes which can be found anywhere. Along with this people get frightened from lions, tigers, beers and other animals which can harm a person but these animals are mostly found in forests and zoo.
FLOWER
269. Do you like flowers?
 Yes I like flowers. Rose is my favorite flower and I love to offer it to God in the morning. Its color and fragrance attracts me most, I use it for decoration also.
270. Do flowers mean anything in your country?
Flowers are considered as symbol of life and beauty in my country. They give freshness and life to the place. People keep flowers in homes and offices to add beauty and splendor to the place. In these days, flowers are used to decorate places where festivals and occasions are held. They add charm to the place.
271. Do people in your country give flowers to each other?
People give flowers in the form of bouquets to convey best wishes on different occasions. Also people send flowers to a person who is sick for his early recovery and in addition to this, Flowers are presented to express love and affection to each other.
272. On what occasions do you use flowers in your country?
On every festivals and occasion, flowers are used for decoration, worship, and as an offering, so occasions and celebrations without flowers are incomplete now a day in my country. People convey messages of love by offering flowers to their loved ones; these speak the language of heart.
273. Is there any festival in your country related to flowers?
A number of festivals are celebrated in different parts of my country in the spring season like Rose festival, spring festival and Chrysanthemum carnival. All these celebrations are organized in big gardens which contain colorful flowers beds. Along with this, in these festivals one gets a chance to see pot flowers, garlands, flowers decoration and flowers arrangements which enhance the beauty.
274. Do people in your country grow flowers?

Flowers add beauty and life to the place. To feel there beauty people grow flowers in their Kitchen gardens and pots. They maintain big gardens in front of their houses these days floral agriculture is also becoming popular in my country.
