To
what extent do you agree or disagree with the opinion?
The world has always been male dominated. It is very
clearly seen that males are encouraged more to pursue education and to get
employed with that qualification. Good news, from recent years, is coming from
every corner of the world that females are also walking with same marching on
the path of education along with males. Universities are preferred by females to
study after finishing the basic schooling. There are several factors within the
family that decide whether a male or female candidate will move to higher
education or not.
As far as, the role of university is concerned, it
should open his arms equally for both sexes. By giving same respect and welcome
to both sexes, universities will also promote the sense of equality among
students. It will also increase the effective competition between students.
Everyone is free to fly in today’s time so it is quite natural that
universities should take the equal intake of males and females. Moreover, there
are certain fields where both sexes can do wonder like software industry,
thinking based jobs and behavioural skills based jobs so they both should get
the opportunity. Every subject is great if greatly pursued so it should be an
open opportunity for males and females to go for it.
Apart from taking care about sense of equality, it
is also important to keep in mind certain things about opening a subject for
both sexes. Like there are subjects in which naturally males are comfortable or
interested and vice versa for females. They are certain subjects in which males
and females are required as per their natural talents so automatically in those
subjects there would be a miss-balance in strength of students.
Still it is right to open arms for both sexes with
equal love on the part of university.
