Essay Fully Solved:
Popular events like the football world cup and another international sporting occasions are essential in easing international tensions and releasing patriotic emotions in a safe way. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
Best Solution:
Sports and movies have always been monumental in bringing people closer irrespective of their nationality and cultural beliefs. Due to this, it is believed that sport events worldwide hold an inescapable position to allow people to show their patriotic feeling and help reducing the international tensions among nations. I am partially agree to this since sports vanish the boundaries between people of distinct nationalities while I am disagree because political reasons are responsible to cause tensions among countries so sports have an unnoticeable role to play in this.
Agreement to the statement is there due to the reason that no boundaries and discrimination exist when it comes to enjoy sports events especially on international scale, everybody goes there to feel the full-scale excitement and fun. For example, during such events, people are seen to gravitate to places where there never been to and just emphasise on enjoying the event hence if there exists any tensions between those nations still they come on same platform and behave as a family.
While the other half of the matter is opposite because international tensions arise due to policies made by politicians; they prefer to go with selfish attitudes, they want their country to win at all fronts that makes other country feel either inferior or suppressed. For example, political leaders of India and Pakistan, they both have their own mindset which is nothing to do with common people but still it creates a lot of stress between both nations,here, how sports can play an integral part. Therefore, authorities need to understand that until they go with win-win mindset, tensions will never disappear.
The role of international sports is unarguably pivotal. I am partially agree as well as disagree that sports can mitigate the stresses and unhealthy relationships among different countries.
