Describe something special that you brought home from a tourist place IELTS CUE CARD 2019

Describe something special that you brought home from a tourist place
What it is
When did it buy
Why did you buy
How did you use it

Best Solution:

1. To travel to a new place is like adding more life into life, this journey becomes more significant when we bring certain things and experiences from such places and add them in our day to day life.

2. Normally when I go to a new location, I try to buy things from the place to attach memories of that place for lifetime.

3. The list of things that I usually prefer to try is clothes, books, electronic gadgets, antiques and souvenirs.

4. In this year summer season, in the month of June I went to Jaipur with family in our personal car.

5. After going there and exploring all the best places there, finally time came when we had to buy something to make the visit memorable forever.

6. Then all of us decided to go to market, rather than buying clothes and souvenirs this time we were highly interested in trying something new.

7. At a shop that was renowned for selling antiques, we found countless precious items to go for, there we bought a wall clock that was 100 year old and it was made in London.

8. However we were afraid about its price that it may be out of our reach since I am from a middle class background but still my father said, we can afford it.

9. Eventually we ended up buying it in 10,000/- and we purchased an unique thing for the coming generations.

10. After coming home when neighbors, friends and family members watched it, they were astonished with its design, meticulous style of working and its external look.

11. We bought not only to add a memory but also to expand our collection of precious articles at home.

12. All in all, this clock created a wow factor in my family as it was a priceless possession and from that day on, we are having that clock in our living room.
