You have seen an advertisement from a couple who live in Australia for someone to teach their two children your language for a year.

Write a letter to the couple. In your letter

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter in response of the advertisement that I came across in THE SYDNEY TIMES on 5 January 2025 where it was mentioned that an Australian couple originally from India wants a Hindi tutor for their two children. I am writing to present my profile in this regard.



First and foremost, I would like to express that why I am an appropriate individual for this job since I, too, belong to India and I have been using Hindi since birth, I have read this language in my schooling as well as college years formally and I have always been deeply interested in exploring this language. Notably, I am Hindi Honors by qualification. Here in Australia, if I find a family who is from India and wanting some service that I am able to provide, it will be perfect match.



Apart from teaching children Hindi language, I am able to help the family in buying grocery at regular periods and I am a certified yoga practitioner as well. I strongly think that my yoga skills will be highly useful for all the family members since it helps in refreshing mind and body and boosts performance. Adding further, if you have a pet at home, I can take it to park in evenings.



Last but not the last, I would like to share the reasons why I am willing to apply for this job, firstly, I will be working with an Indian family so I will feel like home. Secondly, teaching children Hindi will be a great privilege for me, since here in Australia, for them, learning English will not be a tough thing but it will be a great challenge for them to connect to their ancestor’s language which is next to impossible without a tutor who is equipped in the language, which I am by education and experience. Lastly, the salary you mentioned there in advertisement was also a handsome amount.
