When I look back at my school life, an incident that vividly comes to my mind is, the day of my annual function during my secondary class means 10th standard. The school management had invited that day a number of keynote speakers. Out of them, one was my personal favourite, Mr Shiv Khera, I have read his book you can win and I was really influenced with his works. There are specialists who trust that it is more helpful to teach a new language to children during primary than secondary. In my view, it has more merits than demerits.  The first advantage is, during primary education, children have more learning abilities and they can pay undivided attention to language classes. Such as, a 7 year child gives better attention to a language class than a senior secondary student. For example, I took Spanish classes in my primary and today I am in my senior secondary but I am confident about understanding Spanish in all means.
