Describe something important You lost:

 

1. One more Cue card topic is there which is, describing something important that you lost.

2. What can you say in this topic like any important thing you lost like mobile phone, your goggle, your keys, your wallet, may be any of the belonging like water bottle, hanky and anything of such kind, but my style is very different and I’m going to give you a very unique kind of idea in this.

3. Let me give you a simple idea and whatever I’m sharing with you, is a very real example that has practically occurred to me.

4. Hence, I am going to speak something which is practical, this is completely real and belongs to my own life.

4. Let me give you a demo; let me give a sample answer. As this Cue card allows me to speak about something that I have lost which was important to me.

5.  I want to share here, the incident of the year 2018, when for the 1st time, I gave my IELTS exam in the month of January and unfortunately, I didn’t achieve my desire band’s score.

6.  I was aiming for 7.5 Bands at least but,  I got only 6.5 bands as overall.

7. Frankly speaking, I was expecting 8plus in listening while I got 6.5 in listening, I was expecting 7 in writing and reading each but I got 6 in both reading and writing.

8.  I was on the floor while my confidence plummeted and I lost my self-confidence, I lost my self-esteem, I lost trust in my own abilities, that was very tough time of my life.

9. And for the next two months I remained low and my voice was low, my shoulders were bent and I was not able to concentrate on anything and I was feeling like a loser.

10.  The reason was, I lost one of the most precious things that a human being can possess which is self confidence.

11. As a result, I was having a big scarcity of confidence those days and it really caused me a lot of loses because I think if you are having no confidence and you are going to do anything, you are going to get only defeat, failures.

12. Fortunately after two months, I started building my confidence again and I feel happy to share that  after few months I gave my Ielts exam again and this time I got my desired band score which was 7.5 band as overall.

13. Finally, I got that band score, so this was the special happening that took place in my life which just robbed my confidence.

14. Hence, this is what has happened to me in past where I lost something really-really important, priceless in my life.
