ESSAY #152 || CAMBRIDGE BOOK 9 TEST 1 ESSAY FULLY SOLVED 7+ BAND ANSWER || IELTS WRITING TASK || IELTSDKGLOBAL || ADVANTAGES OUTWEIGH DISADVANTAGES ESSAY SAMPLE ANSWER

There are specialists who trust that it is more helpful to teach a new language to children during primary than secondary. In my view, it has more merits than demerits.

The first advantage is, during primary education, children have more learning abilities and they can pay undivided attention to language classes. Such as, a 7 year child gives better attention to a language class than a senior secondary student. For example, I took Spanish classes in my primary and today I am in my senior secondary but I am confident about understanding Spanish in all means. Therefore, it is good for children to learn a foreign language in primary.

The second benefit is, while in primary classes, a student is less occupied with subjects pressure. It is better to give him a subject of a new language in that duration. For example, in 5th standard, subjects are nearly 4 or 5 and they are basic so students can give more time and efforts to grab a new language. Hence, it is a great idea.

There is a dark side also, when a child is in primary he even does not understand his mother tongue properly so giving him a responsibility of a new language may confuse him completely. For example, up to secondary classes, he reaches to a mindset where he can adjust two or three language learning. Hence, if a new language is given to him in secondary, it is helpful.

This essay has discussed that primary education is more right age to teach a child a foreign language while during secondary, there is one benefit. in a nutshell, more merits are there than demerits.
