Some people think that new houses should be built in same style as older houses in the local area. Others disagree and say that local authorities should allow people to build houses in styles of their own choice. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

There are mixed standpoints on the idea that whether local authorities should stress upon the notion that new homes should be constructed in same way as older one’s people should be given free hand to follow design styles of their choices. This essay will discuss both views along with my personal stand point. 

First view is justified in a sense that if new homes will be built in same way as older ones, it will save a lot of expenses, additionally, it will create a sense of likeness in people's thoughts and opinions. Such as, if one common architecture is followed by all, it will intensify the grace and togetherness of the community. For example, in my hometown, there are 7 homes in a row with same architecture, outside and inside paints, design of doors and point of entry, this reflects the level of unity among those brothers. Thus, allowing people to build homes in a certain manner facilitates a uniformity, a sense of bonding and saving of resources as well. 

Second view seems an open-minded view since it lets the occupants imagine and execute everything according to their heartiest wishes and intuitions. Such as, if people are going to spend money and eventually, they are going to reside in the home, they deserve to take the final decision. for example, when my parents were building our home, they were highly inspired to implement upon their imagination and visions for their ideal home, what if, they were not given such freedom, they would have built not a home but a prison. Thence, individuals should be free to build homes in accordance to their own choices. 

In my personal opinion, local authorities can issue certain general instructions to make sure that enough safety standards are taken into consideration while building homes. On the other hand, people invest their hard-earned money or take loans for which they pay EMIs for years, they should be decision maker for most of the things in a house during its construction. eventually, local administration as well as people who are going to own, both should work in collaboration to build homes. 

This essay has discussed that why local authorities should take decision about how local homes should be made as well as it has also discussed that why people should decide the same. In the end, I also shared my personal opinion.
