HOW ABHISHEK BASATI SCORED 7 IN LISTENING?

Dear IELTS Takers worldwide,

Hope you must be doing will in your preparations, today we are sitting with one of our best students Mr. Abhishek Basati who has recently appeared in IELTS on 4 march 2017 and scored overall 6 with 7 in Listening and 6.5 in Speaking.

Here are his strategies in Listening Module:

1. Focus on the key words when you listen the audio.

2. In multiple choice questions, be patient about the right or relevant information.

3. In map, write directions north, south, east and west it will make easy for you to understand the map.

4. Spelling mistakes can put you into trouble, so practice them while preparing. It will give you an edge.

5. First section is very easy normally questions related to a phone call is given to you and one word or number based questions are there, so focus on these scoring questions. (Even you can score 100% in these questions.)

6. Do not relax after attempting particular questions, check your answers and then immediately go to next part. Sufficient time is given in between all listening sections.

Productive Advises For New Comers:

1. Practice the listening module twice a day and do it consecutively. Non-stop in continuity.

2. Focus on spellings.

3. If a question has been skipped from you then leave it, go to next. It saves your time.

4. Read the instructions carefully to know what exactly is required in the question.

5. While doing preparation, gradually increase your level from easy to tougher ones.

6. While transferring the answers keep in mind the sequence of answers because one wrong answer can disturb the entire series on your answer sheet of listening module.

7. This is scoring module so try to make it your strength and try to score 7 plus in this. you can score it also with regular practice.

Best of luck to all IELTS Aspirants.

LLS24 IELTS WRITING TASK 2 HELP In many countries schools have severe problems with student behavior. What do you think are the main causes of this? What solutions can you suggest? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.    How true it is, we get respect with direct proportion of our behavior to others. When students behave in a rude way or in an irresponsible way then of course it is hard to deal the same for the school authorities. Once we go in introspection of the causes of such temperament of students towards school management then particularly attitude of today’s student comes in to lime light. Attitude of a student is formed by various things like his family background, mutual respect of his family for him, his self-image, his personal targets in life, teacher’s attitude towards him and his active participation in studies. By taking into account all these primary factors, the picture goes cle...

ESSAY #154 || IELTS WRITING TASK 2 || SOLVED ESSAY || DISCUSS BOTH VIEW TYPE ESSAY || BOOK 17 TEST 3 STATEMENT || 27 DECEMBER 2022 || ONLINE IELTS CLASSES ||

ESSAY:: Some people believe that professionals like doctors and engineers, should be required to work in the country where they did their training. others believe that they should be free to work in another country if they wish. Discuss both views and give your opinion.  SAMPLE ANSWER:: A section of society thinks that professionals such as physicians and engineers should work in their native country where they graduated while the other section opines that such professionals are independent to choose where to work in the world. This essay will discuss both the viewpoints along with my personal thought.  Why the first opinion is justified because a country invests a lot of resources in order to build a professional especially a doctor or engineer. Such as, to educate a student with an engineering degree, a nation spends heavily on the faculty, infrastructure, labs, curriculum, job assistance and other aspects then only a student gets the degree. For example, in an IIT, to provi...
