ESSAY #164 || JUNE 26, 2024 || DISCUSS BOTH VIEW AND GIVE YOUR OPINION TYPE OF ESSAY || FULLY SOLVED ANSWER TO HELP YOU ||

Some people think that competition at work, at school and in daily life is a good thing. Others believe that we should try to cooperate more, rather than competing against each other.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Competition and cooperation are two different school of thoughts. There is an army of people that occupies the notion that competition at work or life is an appreciable thing whereas a league of individuals holds the idea that going for cooperation should be the approach to follow instead competing. Here, in this essay we will shed light on both of the aspects along with my personal viewpoint.

First of all, competition aids people to grow and look beyond their comfort zones. It is important that competition if it is healthy or if it is done with your past performances or if it is done to expand your identity, is very much rewarding and empowering. For example, in case of studies or sports or corporate career, sometimes when we look at our competitors, we tend to labour hard and stay away from distractions. The idea of competitor or what competitor will be doing right now to outwork me, highly motivates people so competition is better when it is intentioned for getting better consequences. Thus, it helps individuals to accomplish more.

Second school of thought is cooperation, it opens your heart and makes your ready to share. Unlike competition, the psyche of cooperation gives power to the idea that in this universe, there is abundance for all, there is no fight for resources and material possessions. For example, best people in the world always vote for the idea of cooperation, since team achieves more than an individual. When you cooperate, you create a secure environment around you, which is good for future growth too. Therefore, the concept of cooperation holds a next level insight in it, individuals should always endeavour to cooperate rather compete.

My personal viewpoint is, I strongly emphasize the philosophy of cooperation. It makes us human. It builds the society strongly when each of us help other people. Moreover, every person is unique and having unique set of circumstances, without knowing those things, blindly racing against themselves is of no use. It takes you nowhere. Competition in most of cases, is unhealthy and non-serving. For example, as a student if I cooperate in my class, I am sure that I will gain better, I will create a better environment around me, I will be more fulfilling and as a person, I will grow exponentially. Eventually in my eyes, cooperation is a way more powerful approach to embrace than competition.

In the end, I will say that go for competition if it helps you in a positive sense but adopting cooperation is always better for you and your surroundings. Society is built on cooperation, not on competition. I give my vote to the notion of cooperation.
