Some people believe that visitors to other countries should follow local customs and behavior. Others disagree and think that the host country should welcome cultural differences.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
INTRODUCTION
Travelling expands the horizons of the traveler. When you go to some country, you go with a clear intention of exploring new possibilities and new opportunities of looking at life. When you travel you learn a lot. But also, there are certain things which you should keep in mind to ensure your success in your mission of expanding your conscience about how things work in that country. In the coming paragraphs, I will clearly put light on both scenarios before reaching the final word.
BODY PARAGRAPH - 1
The primary thing for a visitor is to follow the code of conduct of that country to positively mix with the local culture and tradition. Here is truth also; once you respect others automatically you get respect from others. In a position of mutual respect, both parties win. With the intention of respect and appreciation for the host country’s culture and disposition, the visitor will be benefitted more and will come back with a huge collection of happy memories. The intention of knowing things with an eye of great regard for the host country's people and places must be encouraged by the explorers.
BODY PARAGRAPH - 2
A different perspective on the same topic is the host country should also be willing to accept the cultural difference in a meaningful way and they should be open to learning new concepts if they found the opportunity of such kind. It’s all about the openness and willingness of two parties to each other if they both want to make winners out of themselves.
BODY PARAGRAPH - 3
A difference in language, eating style, clothing, perceptions, and geographic diversity is quite obvious between two different nations, and in this situation, it is an ethical and moral duty of both parties that they should respect and welcome such differences creatively. By having this attitude, they both will add to each other.
CONCLUSION
Respect from both sides is a must to ensure the proper exchange of worthy cultures and traditions. Moreover, visitors should show a healthy respect for the host country’s culture and legacy.
